A great colour mixing chart – love the extension!
Thank you for your tips and blog! I
am going to have my first art classroom this school year and I am feeling excited and overwhelmed!
You’re very welcome! I’ve been teaching over 18 years and everything on my website is from my teaching experience! You’re going to do great, just remember the more prepared you are for a lesson (prepping the lesson delivery-visuals/posters/learning objectives, pre-prepping supplies & how to hand them out, storing artwork, clean-up & having/teaching procedures for EVERYTHING!), the better each class will go! Use summer to start to plan these things, and adjust as the year goes along. There is a lot of trial & error the first year figuring what works for your classroom situation. If something doesn’t work, don’t get upset over it just try to figure out how it can be done more effectively next time. I LOVE Katie Jarvis on youtube “Managing the Mess”, @Managingthemess. She has EXCELLENT videos on managing an art classroom! Blessings, Michelle
