Art Festival 2014-15
We have just completed our 2014-15 school Art Festival! Here are some pictures of the layout & artwork. I will have some posts coming with new lesson plans! I made a fun paint can center piece for the refreshment table (Original idea for this was seen at http://www.k6art.com/2014/05/24/art-show-2014-rainbow-of-color/), we added balloon bouquets in paint cans too (didn’t get a picture of the completed tables) & it looked so cool! Some parents brought palette themed cookies that were SO adorable!!
We had a great turn out  & did a new fundraiser that we called “Paint a Pendant” where anyone could glaze a pendant or mug & we will fire it in the kiln (I will do another post about that soon). It was a big success!

Hello,
So I understand what materials are need to do the spilling paint. But can you (do you remember) the actual steps to achieve it. So for the pvc pipe stands how did you do them. The hole in the paint can was drilled where to put the monofilament ( to make the can look as though it spilling)?
Trying to do this in August for a church function ( I know it’s been like 2 years or so but if you can help me it would be greatly appreciated).
Hi! We cut one side of the pvc pipe at a 45 degree angle and the other side flat. We attached the can to the pvc pipe using silicon caulk, but held it temporarily in place with a few shots of hot glue.
Thank you so much for replying back
